This beer name must be joke. This beer was not so special beer. It was not so strong alcohol procent, not so bock and it was too small bottle to be taken seriously. Still it have many gold medals from beer competitions. We wonder why?
From Sergio: Super Bock is sold in bottles of 0.20, 0.25 and 0.33l. The most common bottle is 0.33l at least in Portugal and in other countries where I have found it (France and Switzerland). At this time, Super Bock has an alcohol volume of 5.6% instead the 5.8% you have. This has changed a few years ago.The Brewery is located in Leça do Balio and not in Santarém.

Gambrinus lager
Saint Gambrinus is regarded as the Patron Saint of Beer in parts of Middle Europe. A Fantastic brew is made in his name in Czech Republic even today. (Thanks Markku)
