Kingfisher is actually a bird in India that the beer is named after.It is also shown on the label (Thanks Rickard) Kingfisher is the name of a small brightly coloured bird found all over India. (As shown on the label of the Bottle). This bird is a master in catching fish by making a vertical dive into the rivers and streams for small fresh water fishes. (Thanks Anthony)
