Harveys Elizabethan Ale

"Harvey's " is the possessive of the brewery, and "Elizabethan Ale" implies a connexion to Queen Elizabeth Tudor of England, daughter of Henry VIII, granddaughter of Henry VII and great-granddaughter of Edward IV. Elizabeth Tudor ruled in the late 16th century. The "Elizabethan Period" is seen nostalgically by the English. Originally brewed to mark the Queen's Coronation in 1953. Regular drinkers use name 'Lizzie'
