History
Company name used to be Brewtech. They started brewing in Sail & Anchor Pub in Fremantle, Perth, the capital of Western Australia in year 1984. Brewmaster is Ken Duncan. Brewery tries to specialize to English Ales and craft made beers. Later second brewery (called Matilda Bay Brewery) was build.
Beer tasting
Quite nice australian bottom-fermented dark lager. Worth of try. Same kind of bitter taste than for example Old Peculier. (Ok, now I get lot of hate mail from Old Peculiers…) Better and different than many other australian beers. Strong smell. Strong taste. We give it 8 - 8 ½. Beer is cask-matured before putting to bottle (comment by RTP Maki)
