Beer name means	Vondel was a famous dutch poet in the late 17th century. His picture is on the label of the bottle. In Holland he is referred to as 'the prince of poets'. He wrote poetry (of course) but he's best known for his plays. The most famous play is "gijsbrecht van Aemstel" . This is a play about the count (gijsbercht) of Amstel (aemstel in old-dutch).
