The name of the brewery "PalmbrÃ¤u" is originated in the palms, which were planted in the beergarden of the brewery in the early fifties of the nineteenths century. "Rezent" describes the typical fresh and sparkling taste of wheat beer. "Weizen" is a german idiom for wheat beer. (Thanks Georg)
